A couple months ago when I first told my family I was going spend the rest my year in the mission field my father turned to me and asked, “how much does it pay?” HA! I said, “its doesn’t pay dad, I got to pay!” Not something I think my father wanted to hear at the time. However I’m very happy to share with all you folks out there God’s wonderful faithfulness. As of this past Thursday I reached my financial support goal of $5,000. God provided it all in about 16 days – not bad!:) The best part is it truly was my heavenly father’s doing! I had a wonderful gentleman whom I’ve never met drop off a HUGE amount. Sir, if you are reading this I want to say thank you! You have no idea how what you did grew my faith and the faith of the folks around me – especially my dad’s. I also had quite a bit of money come in from folks I never asked. I just want to thank everyone who gave, it’s been so humbling. Also to the folks that did not donate, but have supported me in prayer – thank you very much as well.
And while I’m lovin’ on folks I might as well say thank you to all the people that made my last months in Fayetteville tolerable. Larry Watkins, you da man, even though you freakin’ refuse to read or post comments on my blog. Michael Posey and Philip Lamar, I appreciate you guys being real and honest about your lives. Ya’ll made Monday mornings great. The Tuesday morning group, it was real stinkin’ early, but I loved being around men who were so much more wise than myself! Fellowship Bible Church, Mickey I’m glad we got a chance to have some chats. Derek Burleson, damn that was a huge trout you let get away! Ruth Chapman, my kindergarten girlfriend:), you may live down in Monticello, but you were always there for me when I needed to vent and throw a fit about the battles in my life. My sister, Tracy, I love you and pray for you always. I know you’ll miss my computer more than me:) Oh yes, I can’t forget Chris Tucker. I love you brother and seeing you grow strong in Christ has been an inspiration in my life. Carrie you can finally have your husband back. There are so many others that I have not mentioned here, but just know ya’ll are all appreciated so much!
