Last night me and the Bible students here in Mindinao watched a heck of a sermon on DVD by Bishop Eddie Long. He’s a pastor down in Atlanta and he had some great things to say. Here’s just a few I wanted to pass along to ya’ll.
“If we doubt ourselves, we doubt God.”
“He put on our sins so we can put on righteousness.”
“We already have ALL the power, so if we got ALL the power, there ain’t none left for the Devil.”
“We spend our lives trying to CREATE ourselves instead of trying to BE ourselves.”
Believe me, I know how it is. You read over these and say, “Yeah I’m down with that – good stuff.” But do we TRULY understand the impact of these words? Do we REALLY believe them? I know for me the challenge is getting these TRUTHS from my head to my heart.
