I thank God that Mallorie was obedient to God’s call to join the race. I wonder what my life would be like now had she not ever joined and in turn never written this blog. Her obedience and her life changed mine. Maybe better put, her allowing Jesus to live through her awakened something in me! Yet, let me try again, she allowed the love and power of Jesus to flow through her life and stir something in my spirit. It’s crazy how God works – her life touched mine and I hope my life has touched and awakened something in others along the way this past year and a half.

     That was my last paragraph in yesterday’s post. Today’s blog is an extension of that thought.


“and through your offspring (seed) all nations on earth will be blessed – because you have obeyed me.” – Genesis 22:18
    
     In this passage God is telling Abraham his seed will bless all nations because he was obedient when called to sacrifice Isaac.

    Blessings through obedience…

     Even on the World Race the seeds we sow into others (translation: the ministry we do each day, the way we love and serve our teammates, and the blogs we write) will be blessed because we were obedient when called to make our own sacrifice and join the race.

      Without even knowing it Mallorie Miller sowed a KINGDOM seed into my life by writing a blog that changed the way I prayed. And that seed was blessed because she was obedient to the call to leave home for a year.

     Her obedience changed my life and in turn my life has touched and changed my 25 squadmates, the people I ministered to this last year and a half, my family and friends, my supporters and my faithful blog readers. Again HUNDREDS, maybe thousands have been blessed through my life all because ONE was obedient to the call to sacrifice.

     Blessings through obedience…

     Just like Abraham’s seed was blessed through his obedience to sacrifice Isaac. God will also bless the seeds of each world racer sown in obedience.

     Imagine now, 250 racers per year sowing KINGDOM seeds that will be blessed because of their obedience. And, if one seed sown can touch hundreds, even thousands of lives. We are easily talking about SEVERAL THOUSANDS of lives being changed for Jesus IN JUST ONE YEAR!

Now we can begin talking about waking up a generation of crazy nutballs that DESIRE with everything in them to be change agents to this lost and dying world.

Now we can begin talking about waking up a generation that will allow the love of Jesus to change those around them.

 
Now we can begin talking about waking up a generation who will live NOT BY SIGHT, but BY FAITH!

Now we can begin talking about waking up a generation of men who will have the guts to be the fathers and husbands this world needs.

Now we can begin talking about waking up a generation of women who no longer need to find their worth and identity in their external beauty.

Now we can begin talking about waking up a generation of radical, firebreathing, KINGDOM living Christ followers who lay hands on and heal the sick, who cast out demons, who shake and rattle the gates of hell, who speak life and KINGDOM into existence everywhere they go, and who love the unlovable in a way that supernaturally surpasses the world’s wisdom or knowledge.

 
Now we can begin talking about waking up a generation of people who will love and not judge the people God places in their lives. Because, lets face it – that’s what it’s all about!
 
     Help me to continue to wake up a generation of radical Christ followers – of world changers – of people not fearing man, but fearing and honoring God.
