This morning we finally put this boat to use we’ve been staying on by taking a nice little jaunt down the Amazon. We took a day off from our kids and youth ministry to go check out the headwaters of the Amazon. Here’s some pics from our day trip.

I can’t believe we’re already just about at the halfway point of our ministry here in the Amazon. Friday we leave to head back to Iquitos. (We’ve been in a small town on the Amazon River called Nauta the past couple weeks.) We’ll spend two weeks in Iquitos doing lots of kids ministry, in-home visits, and worship services. Plus a couple guys from the team (Matt Snyder and Steve Wright) will spend a week teaching some local pastors more about God’s Word.
Anyway, hope things are going well back in the states. I love ya’ll and thanks so much for all the prayers!
