I have a bit of a story to tell you in this blog post. I have a hard time fundraising, because I’m a bit of an Introvert, talking with people is not my forte. So I need to earn some money, and God really smacked me in the face with an opportunity to earn some.

Blake, a youth sponsor at my Church told me that where he worked was hiring people with no work experience. So I asked about and got the information needed to apply. I got my resume made up, and headed out there to hand it in. I handed in my Resume, was walking out, and ran into Blake again! He asked me to follow him, and because he’s a awesome guy I listened. We went and saw somebody, his boss I believe, and conversed for about 5 minutes, and at the end I was told that I start on the 30th of June! Now, I haven’t been looking for a job a lot, but I’m pretty sure that this was very quick for a normal job.

God tends to do things in the most unexpected ways, at the most unexpected times. I have often been guilty of trying to do things my own way, on my own timetable. God constantly proves to me that his ways are higher than mine, so this was a nice, not so gentle, reminder. Now I just have to keep it in mind, as time goes on, to actually act on it.
