Day 3 of Training Camp

After many hours of sessions, worship, deprivation of sleep and limited food…

We were to asked to pray for one another in a specific way of what we needed from God…

My partner, Audrey and I were on the same page about being completely broken for God…

During our prayer time, I received an imagery of….

A dam blocking the natural flow of a river.

Then a pick tool hit the structure of the dam.

A very small piece of the dam came flying out.

There is something in us that blocks God from pouring and flowing through us…

It isn't until we break down our false security/guard that the river will flow freely…

Even though it was a very small piece that was broken…

It represent the beginning of surrendering ourselves to the will of God…

Later that night during worship…

I was so open for God to allow me to cry in His beautiful and perfect presence…

But no tears came rushing though my eyes…

However, again I received another insightful imagery…

It was four different images but I could feel the direction of God telling the story…

First Image…

The essence of the scenery was captured like a sunset.

There were tree's surrounding this paved path.

The path curved at the end.

I eagerly followed it with joy in my heart.

Second Image…

The path came to an abrupt end.

The grass and weeds went up as high as my knees.

I turned around to the path I just came from.

But it was gone.

I heard the Lord say,

Follow me in this unknown path.

Third Image…

The beautiful essence of the sunset,

Has now become darker.

Tree's, bushes and fallen branches have now covered my every step.

I had to work harder to continue the unmarked path.

Fourth Image…

The night has fallen upon my journey.

My eye caught an illuminating pure light.

It was coming from a cave.

The cave was covered in thorns.

My heart was set on breaking through the thorns.

To reach the light.

Reflecting on that vision then and now…

Has the same affect on my heart and mind…

We begin this race for Jesus with a spiritual high…

When we get to the point of following His path for us…

We can no longer live in the same way we once did…

He is calling All of us to surrender what we know and trust in Him…

When the race for Christ get's tough, He is still with us…

Keep focused of the prize…

When we catch a glimpse of what it is He has prepared for us…

Nothing in this world will make us stop pursuing Him…

Even if it costs us pain, heartache, and death to our flesh…

God has restored my gift of visions…

He can do the same for you…

He has called you to live beyond what you know…

To trust in Him when things get scary…

Live life with the end result in mind!
