Words…
Simple. Complex.
Perplexed I am by the words of God.
His words are TRUTH!
And yet I find myself struggling to swallow His words!
Chewing… Swallowing… Digesting………………………….. His WORDS!
Allowing His Words to bring nutrition to my sinful nature!
God's words are TRUTH!
And I find myself thinking the following things…
- God, I don't understand how you work
- God, why would you allow this to happen
- God, why didn't you intervene
- God, do you really have to list the genealogy of a family
- God, what is your meaning behind that story or parable or symbol or number
The list of questions go on and on… and on… and on…
As I read the Bible… God's words… His TRUTH!
I become more and more uncomfortable, challenged and confused!
However, despite my lack of clearly understanding God and His words.
God is Infinite!
I am a finite being.
God is Truth!
I am corrupt.
God is Creator!
I am his creation.
How am I, the clay going to reason or question the potter who created me…
God's words are Sweet because of Truth and yet Sour because of Truth!
His Words should challenge us and make us be in awe of God!
Allow His Words to Transform You!
Live His Words Out Daily!
"Do not let this BOOK of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful" – Joshua 1:8-9
