Let me give you a glimpse of my life in Romania

Our entire squad of 50 plus people are living together in a missionary house. Every inch of this house is filled with people and packs and FLIES! The men are camping out in the backyard and some people are sleeping in their hammocks.

The church is about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the house. We meet there everyday at 10 am for worship and intercession. Then we go back to the home to eat lunch which consists of a sandwich of some sort. Then back to ministry at 1 pm until dinner time at 6 pm. Let's scratch everything I have written about our schedule because things get changed so much on the World Race.

Example of a Change:

  • We found out that our route has changed once again. We are no longer going to the Ukraine but to Moldova.

Things I see:

  • Alongside cars and buses on the road are horses or perhaps donkey's pulling a wagon
  • Gypsies and their children
  • Many elderly women with head coverings
  • Hungry dogs on the streets
  • Gates with spikes on top or some defense toward intruders
  • Walking on dirt or broken sidewalks
  • Huge sunflower fields
  • Racer's carrying water bottles
  • Racer's with dirty feet all the time
