How are you? I hope that God has been doing as many great things in your life as He has in mine. If you’re here then you must know about the amazing and challenging opportunity that God has presented me with. As many of you know, I have been offered a chance to share the love of Jesus in 11 countries. I will be a part of a mission team from the World Race. The World Race is a ministry of Adventures in Missions. Learn more about the race here http://theworldrace.org/
My squad mates and I will have the opportunity to serve in South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, India, Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. While on the race we will be teaching, preaching and showing love to the widows and orphans of Mozambique. We will be encouraging believers and bringing hope and truth to those in India, Cambodia and Vietnam. We will befriend, serve and care for the youth and orphans of Thailand. We will also bring the kingdom of God to South Africa and Swaziland where the infection rates of AIDS/HIV is high. As eager as I am to be on the field and see what God has planned for these people, I am even more impatient to see the work God will be doing in my life over those 11 months. Although I am a little nervous, I know that God has put this trip on my heart. I know that He will watch over me and protect me and that I just have to trust Him in everything.
While God is calling me to go and develop a greater heart of compassion for his people everywhere, the best part is that YOU too can share in this compassion in several ways. You can help me by praying for me and my teammates. Please pray that God will prepare us and bless us and our efforts as we prepare to go out in the world to minister to His people. You can also pray that our financial needs are met prior to embarking on this journey.
You can also help by providing financial support. To be able to go on the trip, each team member must raise $16,266.10. This will cover training, travel expenses to/from each country, lodging, food, on the field ministry and travel insurance. I cannot do this alone, but I know God will provide.
Would YOU prayerfully consider supporting me financially? Amazingly, if 25 people pledged to contribute $50 a month for 12 months, I would be fully funded for the world race. Just click the “Support Me” link at the top of the page and complete your donation as instructed. Both methods are quick and efficient. Credit/debit card donation is the most preferred method.
Written Check Donation
If you choose this method, please send an email to [email protected] with your mailing address and I will send you a pre-addressed envelope with a response card. Please return your checks along with the response card, which will provide AIM with the information necessary to send you a receipt for your donation. Your check is sent directly to the bank where it is deposited. There is no associated fee. The bank will send an image of the check to AIM’s accounting department to apply toward your support. It takes approximately 2 weeks from the date you mail the check before it is visible in my support account.
DynaPay Donations (FOR MONTHLY PLEDGES ONLY)
Automatic deduction from a checking account each month with no fees. To sign up for DynaPay, please go to www.adventures.org/dynapay and follow the instructions. Please write my name in the “Which Person or Purpose to support”.
You MUST create an end date for your donations. If you do not, DynaPay will not automatically end the donations and DynaPay will continue to deduct each month unless you call to have it cancelled.
