What are you running from? Why are you clinging to something that has already been won…Shame, heartbreak, lust, sexual desire, homosexuality, the judgment you put on people, it doesn’t matter what it is but it’s been won for you. It’s been nailed. to a tree. A son paid the price. for something you would never have to die for. All you have to die to is this world and choose hope. choose faith. choose heaven. choose the father who never forsakes or abandons.
To many times we neglect what needs to be said. acted on. because of intimidation of a person. If Jesus acted on intimidation the bible wouldn’t exist and the miracles and blessings would be dead. so the questions here is what are you running from? What has God spoken that you’ve ignored or put to rest because it isn’t convient or lavish enough? The work of the Lord and following him isn’t lavish, its tough, it stretches you in ways you never thought you would be but the result in your life and the people you touch is the miracle. People you never thought would accept would be saved, resurrected, and brought home to the one who desires that relationship in everyone.
About a year ago not getting drafted for baseball, I felt God pulling my feet out from under me and sucker punching me saying: “Ross What Are You Running From?!”. What you want is to play baseball but what I want is bigger and better then the short fame you will receive during that time. It wasn’t till after passion and getting in my E-Group at Elevation that I truly realized what he was telling me to do. missions! After volunteering and encountering the true heart of a person not just the appearance made me realize what matters most. To many times we judge the outside and not the inside. so choose the one who matters and watch everything change around you.
