I have not posted a blog in quite some time…over 3 months, ewww sorry about that. Granted don’t think I haven’t been writing or that I don’t stories to tell because we all know I have those lol. This will be the first of a few blogs I will post, some serious like this one and other funny and embarrassing because I like laughs, and light hearted moments….SO without further ado here is my first thought I will post for now!
If I desire to develop a relationship with God I like to look at the story of Noah and look at it through Gods eyes. God took his judgment, quit pointing at humans because of our flesh, and pointed it at himself. He then started to figure out a new way to reach humans as if He was not doing the relationship right. So even though God knew that we were failing 100 percent He decided to take the responsibility of the relationship and start a new covenant. If I am desiring a relationship with anyone, friends, family, boys, girls, men, women I am suppose to look at where I am pointing my judgment. I am to look at pointing it the way God would point it. That other people are suppose to be free in there half of the relationship to do as they please, and I am responsible to be free as well, to be me. I am not to take their burdens or issues and make them mine, or take the situation and place fixing the problem on my shoulders. Instead I am to look inwardly and at God to see if I have been investing in the relationship in the way that He has invested in my life. With pure and holy desires, and with love and unconditional passion for the other people in this situation. To honor and live with the peace and righteousness He has blessed His children with. To live like that and have the hope and knowledge that those people will not and can not take advantage of the situation and/or hurt me because I live in the comfort and abide in the love of my savior Jesus Christ. That statement in and of itself will help me live in a way that leads those people not just to salvation, but to desire more of Christ’s unconditional love. UNCONDITIONAL LoVE.
Hope you enjoyed it,
-Ross
