Dear Friends & Family,
I pray this letter finds you well. I am writing to tell you about the new and incredible experience I have been presented with. Beginning in September, I will be launching out with a team of people on an 11 month mission trip called The World Race. During this time I will be visiting 11 different countries including; Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe. I will be involved in all kinds of ministry in these countries from working with orphans, teaching English, preaching, planting churches, feeding the hungry, and ministering to victims of sex trafficking, all while spreading the love of Jesus. I am beyond excited about this journey.
When God first put the idea of the World Race on my heart, I pushed it away. It was uncomfortable and challenging and I did not feel worthy enough. However, as Christians we know God does not call the equipped, He equips the called. He used scripture, people in my life, and other various signs to confirm that I was following His will. I will be living out of my back pack and immersed into these communities for 11 months. Now that I have surrendered to His calling on my life, I am at complete peace with knowing that He will provide my every need.
Just like many other mission organizations, World Racers must fundraise financial support to pay for expenses. I believe that just as God has called me to go, He is also calling together a team of ministry partners who, through their prayers and financial support, will serve alongside me during my 11 months on the World Race. Would you prayerfully consider supporting me through this journey by giving monthly? I must raise $16,267 to cover the cost of my travel, food, lodging, and insurance expenses. It does seem like an overwhelming amount. However, I believe that called God me to this, and I have complete faith that He will deliver.
