Rylee Jae Reynolds,
Happy Birthday Stinkin’!
It was this time last year I fell so deeply in love. The circumstances of your arrival were unexpected to me but all in the Lord’s plan. He knew how much we needed you, needed your joy, needed your smile.
Today, is the hardest day on the race for me. I wish I was there with you watching you face plant into a cake. I can’t help but to think about how much you must be growing. I’m sure by now you’re beginning to form words and even walk. It amazes me how much time flies.
Sometimes, I think of why I’m here, sitting in a crammed coffee shop in Honduras on the World Race. Obviously, it has nothing to with my own will, but God’s will for me. However, I think you are a big part too. I pray that through my obedience, you will learn what it means to serve the Lord with all your heart. I pray that you will not be scared of abandonment. I pray that you understand and except vulnerability for all the good that it is. May you know the Lord and hear him when he is speaking to you. May you never lose your wanderlust. May you fight for the people of this world, and realize all they have to offer.
You may only be one today, but one day you will change the world.
Love,
Your crazy Nini
