It was super weird to begin with. Knowing everyone by name but only seeing a small picture of their face on Facebook messenger. 10 days may seem like a long period of time to some, but for me, it was very short.

In these last 10 days
I met 42 people that instantly felt like family
I met 42 people that are on the same mission I am
I met 42 people who I will travel with for 9 months
But the best part is, I met 42 people who push each other, as well as myself, to grow closer to God in different types of ways and I could not imagine being with another squad!

Although I have a new family(Squad) of 42, we get split up into teams and I get the opportunity to be apart of team- “Aliento de Vida” (Breath of Life)
Now these 5 other people on my team are who I will be living with for 9 months.

From left to right we have
Emily, Lindsay, Stella, Bo, Myself, and Jackson

Each and everyone of these people are so different, but all loving and compassionate about our mission to spread the word to the world. I could not be happier to get to know these fantastic human beings and get to do missionary work with them! We are already super close and things can only get better from this point on.

I also had the opportunity to meet other people from different squads and it is just amazing how well everyone connects. I loved the environment and I loved everything that Adventures in Mission taught us. I wish it would have lasted longer but sadly it couldn’t.

I have exactly 6 weeks until i embark on my 9 month journey and I’m sure the time will go by fast.

John 4:19
We love because He first loved us
