Wiggity wow. Nepal is by far my favorite place on the Planet thus far. Something that I have dealt with is idolizing nature. I just love mountains and trees and snow to a point that I began to idolize it. It is crazy to me that our Heavenly Father created such beautiful masterpieces and he calls us (man and woman) his greatest creations. I have grown such a heart for finding truth and seeking out God’s heart and I cannot ever get passed that he loves me more than the things that I find to be marvelous and spectacular.
Moving on to Ministry this month
Our ministry host (who I cannot name due to privacy and just respecting that) had us call him 2pac. He is such an awesome guy. He is a little older and he hosts the “High Adventure Ministry” groups. For a week and a half, we did nonstop traveling around and hiking. We got to meet so many unreached people groups and see how they live and it was awesome!!! 2Pac just has such a heart for the Lord and he takes the word and runs with it. He gets to hike so much and see so many amazing things while evangelizing! Now who said being a Christian was not fun 🙂
My team and I are getting closer each and every day. I love each of them so much and I am excited to see how Africa is gonna be. Our squad leader, Mark, is changing squads due to a shortage of squad leaders and for personal reasons. We all love him to death and we understand that he needs to go. Our new squad leader is Lo! She is super cool and awesome and she will be with us for a week in Africa. My team and I will be living by ourselves with a ministry host. Cannot wait to grow closer with my team and get to dive deeper into eachother.
I am going to Africa in a few hours. I woke up early to shower, pack a few things and get some stuff done. If traveling the world for 9 months, buying coffee, writing blogs, and sending emails doesn’t make me an adult? Then I don’t know what will.
