Wiggity wow my friends. It has been officially 3 months since leaving for the race and just to think about that is wild. So much has happened and I have loved every second of it.
I have learned so much about intimacy with the Lord and have grown so much through it. I love preaching and I love evangelizing and everything in between.
Zim was definitely a month to remember. I loved getting to teach others about the lord and I loved getting to minister to children. I have grown such a big heart for kids in the past month. I love having the opportunity to change lives and I could not be any more grateful.
Time to get to a little sad note, Team changes… sorta.
The guys and I (all 12 of us on the squad) will be put together for “Manistry month” (Our month pretty much consists of manual labor and manly things). The girls are going to be put into teams for the whole month. Zambia is going to be an awesome time for the guys to pour into each other and the girls will be able to do that with other girls on the squad. The sad part is this month was the last time Aliento de Vida (Breath of life (aka my team)) will be separated. After this ministry month team changes will happen and I will be on a team with 2 different guys and 3 new girls. I am excited to get to know more people but I love my team to death and I am going to miss Aliento de Vida.
I’m never going to forger the memories I have made with my team. From watching the Himalayan sunrise to the cringy dancing we would do, I love every single person and couldn’t ask for a better team.
I am ready to see what my new team will be in about a month from now. I continue to search for truth and I want to keep striving to learn about the love God has for me.
I will be in Zambia in less than 24 hours and I am super excited. I am still in awe of how far I have come, and of how far I am from home.
Thank you to everyone for the love and support. I did mention in my last blog that I am fully funded and I want to take this time to challenge my supporters. Bo and Stella are the last people on my current team that are not fully funded. I ask that you just look for them on my blog site on the left side of the website and read their blogs and see the way the lord has been moving in them. If you feel led to donate that would be awesome!
Just a prayer request for my squad and I as we travel
Much love to everyone who reads these 🙂
Till next time, Adios!
