Hello everyone! This is where i will be keeping everyone updated on my journey for the next year to come! I plan on writing at least once a week and keeping everyone updated on what is going on in my life! Since this is my first post i decided to talk about how i joined and what motivated me to go on the race!
So just this past semester I felt a calling and a need to serve the Lord in anyway possible. Because of this, I started to do some research for mission trips. After looking into trips that were only 2 to 3 months I began to realize that it was not what I wanted or what God wanted. After hearing about the world race from two of my close friends from church, I began to pray. While praying I just hoped God would reveal what he wanted me to do. After waking up in the middle of the night I knew I had to do it. I did not do anything in the few minutes I was awake for, but only sign up for the world race. It was as if I did not sign up myself and I have never slept better in my life. I hope to learn a lot about what the world has to offer and see how God is going to use me for these amazing 9 months!
