God’s Promises
We walk by Faith not by sight.
Hebrews 10:23 says, “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.”
Has God told you something about your future, has He given you a promise and you are now in the waiting stage?

I find myself becoming more and more in awe of God; how he truly desires to speak to each of us daily, moment by moment. I have lived an aimless life, wandering, confused, unfulfilled and wondering if God really had a plan for my life. And the more I call on Him the more He reveals His will for my life.
Psalm 143:6, 8 & 10 say, “I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain. Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am TRUSTING you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Teach me to do you will, for you are my God. May your gracious SPIRIT LEAD ME forward on a firm footing.”

How can I continually get to the point of God guiding me? I first must do as verse 6 says to, “lift my hands to God in prayer.” There is a song by Jason Upton that challenges my heart to continually cry out to Him in every situation. Here are some of the lyrics, “I don’t know what to do, but my eyes are on you Lord. I don’t have the power; I don’t have all the answers. But my eyes are on you. Help me boast in my condition Lord. You’re the God and I’m the man. I lift my eyes towards the Heavens; I tune my ear to your command. Help me boast in my condition Lord.” Boast in our human condition, for me my human condition is that I don’t have the answers; I wander aimless without God’s direction. I need to constantly be calling on God, depending on his voice, on His word, and His spirit to guide me.
