H- Squad has now been in Africa for 7 days. We left Asia and landed in Johannesburg , South Africa. It is reportedly known that this city is one of the most dangerous cities and airports in the world. Yet even as we are now officially on our “own” , God is stil our protector. Praise to God who is our protector and our fortress. Psalm 46:11 says, “The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress.” It is so comforting to know God is our leader who goes before us, with us and behind us.
Team Koinonia will be in Vilankalous, Mozambique this month of June. We will be showing the Jesus film to tribal people in the bush and we will be working with orphanages.
We are leaving Monday, June 8th to travel to Vilankalous, it will be a 20 hour bus ride. Please pray for protection as we travel, for our team to continue to unify to be of one mind, one body, and one spirit, for God to continue to lay the people of Mozambique on our hearts, and for us to cling to Him at this half-way point of the Race.
I want to share with you this song that is sang by Christ for The Nations, it is called The More I Seek You.
As I am away from the comforts of life and just life as I have always known it I find myself falling more and more in love with Jesus. And He is calling me to a place of even deeper intimacy with Him. It is strange because this could not be done without Him, but the Lord is stripping me of who I have been, refining me (Isa. 48:10), and making me into who He has truly created me to be. He is all that I have to cling to and He is all that I want, and I want more and more of Him.
I love you all, thank you so much for your prayers, encouragement, e-mails, and financial support this could not be done without you all.
The More I Seek You
The more I seek You
The more I find You
The more I find You
The more I love you
I wanna sit at your feet drink from the cup in your hand
Lay back against you and breathe
Feel your heartbeat
This love is so deep
It’s more than I can stand
I melt in your peace
It’s overwhelming me
