I love Jesus. When people hear this they sometimes tune out, freak out or push away. I know this because I have heard it, and it makes me so sad. They think “hmmm I know people who say they love Jesus and they are mean. They judge everything I do, point out all my wrongs and basically the only reason they talk to me is because they want to convert me.” Can I just apologize for the people who may have made you feel this way. Here’s the thing, I’m guilty of this too. I’m sure there has been a point in my life where I have made someone feel awful when I was trying to represent Jesus, and that’s not okay. Its not okay because Jesus is NOT like this. In fact he is completely opposite of this. See the more I get to know Jesus the more I fall in love with Him and the more I fall in love with Jesus, the more I see He is nothing like this.
Here’s the cool thing, the Jesus I serve wants to meet you exactly where you are at, right now, as you read this. He doesn’t want you to try to get over all your addictions and problems before he says “okay I guess you’re alright now.” No are you kidding me. If He was anything like that I would still be waiting and would never reach that point. The Jesus who has saved me, healed me, and helped me get through my life even when I felt was not possible, loves YOU just as much as he loves me. The Jesus I serve did not come into this world to Condemn it but to save it. John 3:17. Which means He didn’t come to point a finger every time you do something wrong! The Jesus I serve desires a Relationship with you, YES even with all the baggage we carry. The Jesus I serve wants to heal EVERY SINGLE hurt or issue we have going on in our lives!
He legit looks at you and says wow, I made that girl or I made that Man and they are mine. Did you know that His thoughts towards you out number the sand by the sea. (Yea I am for real) That means that He has more loving and precious thoughts towards you than there are grains of sand by the SEA! Did you know that the grace available to you through Him does NOT HAVE a Limit? Did you know it is impossible to do to much wrong or mess up too many times? Did you know that he gave his life for the ONE, and that one is you.
You are allowed to have His love. In fact HE wants you to receive His love . Healing is available to you , freedom is for you and Grace is for you too, just as it is and is available to me.. every single day.
I contently mess up, I am so imperfect but Jesus loves me and it is because of his unconditional love and grace that I want to be better. I don’t want to use grace as an excuse to keep sinning but to become more like Him. I have fallen in love with grace on purpose because Jesus saved me. There is no greater gift. If the Jesus I serve loves you just as much as He loves me, This means He wants to heal you just like me has healed me and saved me.
The Jesus I serve fills every emptiness in my life. The Jesus I serve doesn’t leave me searching for the next high but is my constant high. The Jesus I serve doesn’t leave me thinking there has got to be more to life but, HE IS MY LIFE! How I don’t have to work for his love but it is constantly available Even if I choose not to grab it!
I want you to know you are loved and the Jesus I serve is available to you, just like he was and is available to me.
So when I say I love Jesus, it’s because He loves me despite all of the times I’ve messed up! When I share a blog or a bible verse on Facebook it is not to scare you away or to make you think I am perfect or trying to be because I am not! It’s because the joy I found, the freedom I found is TO GOOD TO HIDE! I want you all to know How good Jesus is. It’s to good to keep to myself . Perfect people is the last thing Jesus is looking for.
You are loved and Jesus is so ready to take any of the brokenness or hurt you may have and heal your heart and make you new! He is the only one who can heal your addiction, your loneliness, your past. Just have a conversation with him! He loves you.

17 God, your thoughts are precious to me. They are so many! 18 If I could count them, they would be more than all the grains of sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.
