Wow First of all let me start off by saying I am not a good blogger at ALL!!! I promise you I will try to be better!

So a couple Big updates I wanted to share with Ya’ll!

To all my supporters… I LOVE YOU! To all my encouragers.. I LOVE YOU.. and to All the people who support me through prayer and through words of LOVE… I LOVE YOU! I never thought I Would ever be where I am financially at this point in the race. Let me break it down for you.

By September 27th I had to of had $3500 in my world race account… I reached that!
2 weeks before I launch in January I have to have $6500 in my account… and believe it or not I actually have surpassed that goal too and on my way to the third goal of $11,000.

I am not sure exactly where I am at, but my guess is around $8500. Since I live in Canada my funds don’t go directly in my account but through my church so its hard to be sure exactly till it is mailed in, then updated in my World race account! BUT as soon as all the money is transfered into my account I will give you a “spot on” update!

Where did it all come from??… well donations are big part! People are blessing my heart so much! It keeps coming in. Also, I just had a pancake breakfast which raised $1300 and before that a garage sale that raised around $1500 SO ITS COMING! PRAISE GOD!

OK the next big thing.

Some of you may have seen on my Facebook page, that I have in fact switched routes! crazy! 4 days before I leave for training camp, I am not only saying goodbye to B squad but trying to get to know a whole new squad!

Heres what happened:

I just got off work and noticed a new email came in that read… We need brave volunteers: round 2.
All I could think was ohhh man they are still looking for people to switch to the all spanish route , because a few days prior I got an email that was asking people to do this. But this one was different.. they were actually opening a 5th route in January.. I was in shock. The bottom line is that there are so many AWESOME people interested in doing the world race that there were too many people in each squad. 70 plus to be exact, and that is just to big.

My first though was… really, HONESTLY a week before training camp and they need people to switch! And not like switch a squad as a whole, but different people from all different squads coming together to make a new squad! All I was thinking is this is Crazyy and I am not doing it. Obviously I did but this is the in between for you! 😉

Now if you know me this is one thing i would NEVER DO! I am the type of person that likes to almost “play it safe” lay low and try to avoid any type of change… I don’t mind change but not if I’m already pumped about the squad I’m on. I mean I have been getting to know B squad for 4 months already.. like no way. I already had bought orange clothes, (Our squad color was orange by the way) accessories ect. and that all cost money.. and we all know when your a world racer every cent counts. I read the new route and it was completely different.. I think 3 countries were the same! No India, no Nepal, No ireland.. you get my point… I do have to say though out of the 3 countries that were the same, Mozambique and Cambodia were still on it and those were the 2 countries I was most excited about… Gods sense of humor.. love it!

needless to say about 4 minutes later I felt a tug at my heart… YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME JESUS, PLEASE NO. I went back and forth with this honestly for 4 days… actually until I sent the email that said I would be willing to switch routes. The weird thing is I had peace, but my flesh.. it wanted to stay. Anyways I wrote the email… paced around for a bit. Sat in my car and prayed over the email then sent it. God if I am suppose to go then I will Go. I will sacrifice my comfort zone and go. All I thought was … this race is gonna be so crazy, so out of my comfort zone so why the heck not start now! I am doing this all for Gods glory anyways! He gets all the praise all the honor! All I want to do is bring his name to the nations and all the people who are going on this race LOVE JeSus and want to do the same thing. So it really doesn’t matter who I go with!

So thats my story… In 2 days I am flying down to Atlanta Georgia to meet Meredith! A awesome girl from my original B squad who is picking me up and generously letting me stay over night at her house… SHOUT OUT TO YOU GIRL! Then we are gonna drive to training camp where I will give ALL OF B SQUAD BIG HUGS and then go find my New C SQUAD! #PURPLESQUAD !

Ahhh life is crazy but so GOOD! Can I just say I have so much JOY in my heart! I am so excited to meet my new family! COMMUNITY!! Am I a little nervous… HECK YES but im ready! More of you less of me JESUS!!! John 3:30! #LEGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
