First off can I just say THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for all the support you have given me this far. Words can not say how grateful I am. I NEVER want to take your donations for granted because ultimately you guys play a big part in sending me off on this Crazy, awesome adventure.
So about 3 weeks ago I put up a post on facebook that said I was going to be making perogies as one of my fundraisers. And for the people who don't know what a perogie is (maybe some of you awesome americans ;)) it's a "dough" outside with a potato, cheese and bacon ball stuffed in the middle. MMMMMM GOOOD! Within 24 hours I had gotten request for about 65 dozen and by the end of the week I had made about 85 dozen! I had never made a perogie before in my life and I was literally praying they were gonna taste ok… long story short I got tons of compliments on them and it was worth the time put in. By the end of making them I honestly thought I was a perogie…. anyways!! hahah. Thank you guys so much. I raised about 400 dollars doing this fundraiser! Andddd for the people that are already asking for more we will be starting up again in September!
So obviously to leave on this mission Trip I need quite a bit of money to go. $15500 to be exact.Here is a run down on how the finance part works! I have currently raised around $2000 dollars. Before I leave for training camp I need to have $3500 raised.(October 12) So around $1500 more, which is totally possible, because I serve a BIG God! No doubt in my mind it will happen. After that I will need to have $6500 before I take off on the first part of my race, which is in January.
