"B squad, BEST squad!" & "B squad, bombsquad w/ LOVE!" have been the chants of the week! Never in my life has time simultaneously gone so fast and seemed soooo long at the same time. I wouldn't change this experience for anything in the world. I know w/ all my heart that this is EXACTLY where I'm supposed to be right now and I couldn't be more pumped for the year to come. I have been truly blessed by obtaining so many close connections with ppl from all around the US and Canada from all different backgrounds literally overnight.
Before coming to the world race training camp in what seems like an eternity ago (but in reality was less than a week ago) all I really knew was that I shouldn't have many specific expectations outside of expecting the unexpected, knowing things would get intense, and preparing for all kinds of craziness and change. It's good that I didn't overly know what to expect b/c if I had all of my expectations would've been blown waayyy out of the water in the best possible ways! I had read a bunch of blogs since being accepted to the race that talked about things becoming intense, and trust me, they weren't kidding! This has prob. been one of the best weeks of my life and I know despite w/e struggles are to come there are also a lot more good times ahead.
