As of yesterday afternoon, we have officially been told our world race launch schedule! This makes me uber excited! As of right now, there still seems like a million things left to do before I leave, BUT I couldn't possibly be any more happy than I am right now to finally have a specific timeframe to count down as I get everything ready, 7 more weeks! 🙂 🙂 🙂
The low down:
- Fly from Atlantic City to Atlanta to LAX on Tues. morning, Oct. 4th (or possibly 3rd)
- Meet-up w/ some of my my squad to catch up & do the touristy thing in LA for a bit
- Meet-up w/ my entire squad at LAX on the night of Friday, Oct. 7th!
- LAUNCH w/ my lovely B-Squad from LAX to Antigua, Guatemala!
- After launch debrief in Antigua, travel w/ my team "Ignite" to our first ministry site 🙂
- Get our int'l Jesus Party started! (shout-out to Thomas b/c I stole his phrase, lol)

Prior to ^ all that ^ my plan is to spend the next 6 1/2 weeks w/ friends & family, take care of all the things in/outside of the race that need to get done before I leave, cont. raising support w/ hopefully ever-increasing success, remember to breathe, and hopefully not forget anything before I leave for LA! haha [prayers for all of us are always very much appreciated] Specific plans can always change tho so I like to take things as they come… good thing now that the WR is involved…
I know this is gonna be one crazy, intense, wild, amazing, hard, eye-opening, freeing, awesome, lovely, fast-paced, new, unbelievably mind-blowing ride of a lifetime… but I'm ready to ride out the wave that the Lord's has placed in my path 'til hopefully the very end! I hope ur willing to join me (and our incredible God) on this life-changing journey to reach the lost, help the needy, and love the hurting… remember the Lord said, "what you've done unto the least of these, you've done also to me" "care for orphans and widows" & "deny me in front of others and I'll deny you in front of my Father… depart from me, for I never knew you" Love you all!
