This trip is about reckless abandonment, radical changes & growth, living off bare necessities as opposed to an excessive amount of unnecessary stuff, and clinging ever closer to the One who really matters most.
This trip is about letting go of past hurts, anger, fear, & lies we've believed.
This trip is about smashing thru walls that take years to build and allowing vulnerability to occur with those that went from strangers to family in an instant, as well as those we meet along the way, and those we'll see again upon returning home next year.
This trip is about brutally raw & absolutely real fellowship, discipleship, & love!
This trip is NOT some sort of vacation…
This trip is NOT some sort of escape…
This trip is NOT just a temporary change of scenery and habits that will soon be forgotten or re-changed upon returning to the US…
This trip is a LIFEstyle change! and it began a long time ago…

I've already leaped out of the lifeboat and began to walk with my eyes on the prize. Soon, that walk will hopefully and most likely become more of a run… and after it does, the safe harbor will become just a distant memory!
I LOVE U ALL AND KNOW THAT NO MATTER WHERE I GO OR HOW LONG I STAY, I WILL ALWAYS CARRY U W/ ME TO EACH NEW PLACE!!! SO FAR, EACH PLACE IS JUST A STEPPING STONE GETTING ME CLOSER TO FIGURING OUT WHERE I'M SUPPOSED TO BE… WHAT CAN I SAY? I'M A BIRD AND I WAS MADE TO FLY!!!
