Some of the reasons I wanna go on the World Race:

1) For the people who might never be hugged, told that they're loved, or told that they're precious in God's sight… outside of this trip
2) For orphans and small kids who have literally never known a life outside of war, disease, and hunger.
3) For young girls who are betrayed by their own families, the very people who are supposed to protect them the most. But who instead of loving and caring for them, sell these girls into a lifetime of prostitution, slavery, pain, shame, and guilt… just for a lil bit of money… and often times, while they're still just babies
4) For all those who have been isolated, abused, and neglected during their life
5) For all those who have never heard of God's redeeming love & the friendly Savior they can have in Jesus

Tentative travel route:

Costa Rica
Malaysia
Thailand
Asia-explore -> unknown country currently

Pray for these countries and the hearts of those that live there!

I believe everything happens for a reason, even though we don't always understand the reasoning at the time… God always has a plan for our lives. Sometimes ppl ask how a loving God can cause or allow bad things to happen to "good" people. Although He allows things to happen, He def doesn't cause them, and He always has a purpose for both the good/bad events and ppl in our lives. Furthermore, regardless of if someone is a "good" person or a "bad" person is kinda irrevelent considering the fact we're ALL sinners. Even though it's sometimes hard, ppl should look at situations in life as either a direct blessing or a life lesson that can create future blessings. Instead of focusing on the negative, what u don't have, or the bad that has happened to you… try remembering the fact that things can ALWAYS be worse and sometimes God lets bad things happen so we draw closer to Him. Also, remember all the things you've not only been given, but what you've been SAVED FROM! Words can't even begin to accurately describe some of the rollercoaster rides I've been on these last 2 years, so trust me, I know very well first-hand that all of that is true. I also know that what doesn't kill u can only make u stronger (regardless of how cliche u might think that sounds, I know it to be true and there's a reason ppl say stuff like that so often)
