I'm back in the foreign country that initially stole me heart and I couldn't be more glad! My team and the rest of the B-Squad left our hostel in Guatemala shortly after 4am Thurs. and we loaded a nice bus bound for Honduras via El Salvador. Although we haven't actually started our main ministry work here yet, I've already told a bunch of people that I'm going to be one of the ones not wanting to leave at the end of the month and prob. another world racer that asks our contact Tony to come back at some point in the future. I love this place! I love this country, this housing setup, the fact that the entire B-Squad has reunited for an entire month (which is new for the World Race), the overall feeling of this place compared to some of the heaviness felt in Guatemala, our contact and those that work with him, and the teens we are quickly getting to know. I know most of the work we'll be doing has high potential to involve some seriously intense stuff… but I'm excited and feel super blessed to be a part of it! These kids deserve to have people on their side loving on them and praying for them regardless of what they do. They need to know that every poor decision they make has a consequence, but in God's eyes there's no such thing as "too far gone" or hopeless. They are precious in His sight and with A LOT of hard work, help, & dedication they can always turn their life around to make a fresh start. People that have already been thru a lot are often the best people to help others currently going thru a lot because they've already been there.

"Every new beginning comes from some beginning's end" …

"When u wanna give up and your heart's about to break,

remember that your perfect, God makes no mistakes."

Pray for the street kids we'll be working with this month, for our contact Tony and those working with him, for our squad as we have the potential to face some tough things, for the other ministries/projects we do, and for the hearts of all those involved.

fyi: I love my life!
