I've said all along that I can't do this on my own… I need ur help to even come remotely close to making this wonderful pilgrimage a reality in my life… so, whoever is reading this right now, this is to you: unfortunately, it sometimes takes a village to get things accomplished. Please do ur part so that I can do mine! We're ALL called to be the hands and feet of Christ in different ways. Some are prayer warriors, some are teachers, some are doctors & nurses, some are a big help in their local community or church, some are called to help in a variety of ways overseas, and some are able to be financial partners. "Freely I have received so freely I will give."
The Cold Within
Six humans trapped by happenstance
in bleak and bitter cold.
Each one possessed a stick of wood
or so the story's told.
Their dying fire in need of logs
the first woman held his back.
For of the faces round the fire
she noticed one was black.
The next man looking cross the way
saw one not of his church.
And couldn't bring himself to give
the fire his stick of birch.
The third one sat in tattered clothes
he gave his coat a hitch.
Why should his log be put to use
to warm the idle rich?
The rich man just sat back and thought
of the wealth he had in store.
And how to keep what he had earned
from the lazy, shiftless poor.
The black man's face bespoke revenge
as the fire passed from his sight.
For all he saw in his stack of wood
was a chance to spite the white.
The last man of this forlorn group
did naught except for gain.
Giving only to those who gave
was how he played the game.
Their logs held tight in death's still hand
was proof of human sin.
They did not die from the cold outside
they died from the cold within.

I'm already putting money where my mouth is, I'm just asking u to prayerfully do the same…
In 2 Corinthians 9:7-8 it states "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."
Please don't turn a blind eye or closed ear to people who are in such desperate need for the love, hope, and truth that our Lord alone can bring.
In Matthew 25:35, Jesus said "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in… what you've done to the least of these, you've done also to me."
