Greetings from Carolina! I guess I’m here to tell y'all a little about myself. I'm gonna do that the best way I know how- through photographs and a little bit of chatter.
Basic Facts
Born & Raised- Wilmington, NC
Siblings- 1 older sister, Julie, 33.
First loves- my nieces, Kali and Lily.
I’ve been a storyteller my whole life.*
Storyteller- (noun)
Historian. Bystander. Documentarian. Voice for the voiceless.
“a spectator of life, reporting from the sidelines of events and societies.”
* In my young adulthood, this quality of storytelling manifested itself through the medium of photography. For several years all I have wanted to do is pursue missions and humanitarian photography, and see how they work together. For me, this race is a chance to experience the collision of my heart’s desire and the reality of abandoning my family, my friends, my comfort and my western toilet.
I have been a Christian for seven years.
I attended Appalachian State University in Boone North Carolina. I had several majors, learned a lot, and, no, I did not graduate…yet. Maybe someday. I would love to have my degrees. Lots of degrees.
Community is an important part of my life….
Living together.
Serving together.
Adventuring together.
Worshiping together.
This is my first experience with international missions so I expect the Lord to do some serious work in me (being the stubborn, spoiled, sheltered, cautious child I am).
On to the not-so-serious-yet-still-informative

And at heart, I'm really just a big kid.
-That's enough about me for now-
For my Squadmates:
I hope you found some commonalities here that break the ice, maybe start a conversation along the way.
But when it all boils down, there is only one thing that truly binds us- more than our taste in movies, fashion, or our career paths, and that is our beloved Christ. We are all living for Him. The rest is commentary.
