Okay, so, first of all, Tuesdays are now going to be “Cool Tunes Tuesdays”. So, check back here for a cool song (almost) every Tuesday. Please keep in mind that I like music by people like Mika and Jesse y Joy, though, so my taste may not be “good” compared to most people’s.
Today’s is by Derek Webb, because I love him. He riles some people up with his lyrics, apparently, but I think a good dose of truth never hurt anybody! This song, “Rich Young Ruler“, is one that’s been on my heart as God has been showing me several things of which I need to repent. One is pride, which I’ll write a blog on later, and selfishness, along with others. I think it also applies to World Racers. But, I hope you enjoy the song! The second is Newsboys’ “In the Hands of God”. I heard it today and it got stuck in my head. So, enjoy it while it revolves endlessly around your mind, too!
