Just a Left over poem from Australia

While the Sand
was Still Wet

There was once a
dream held by a King

He dreamed it
while walking along the sea

A dream that
children would be dancing in the waves

Oh the songs that
they would sing

Freed for his
glory so that all the cosmos might see

Children so many
like the sand brought up by the waves

There was once a dream
held by a king

He dreamt it
while kneeling in the sand

Forming his image
while the sand was still wet

By his breath he
brought it into being

The first man
brought up in the sand

The two would
first walk while the Sand was still wet

There was once a
dream held by King

That many children will join his begotten
Son

All begotten from
this man formed in the Sand

There was once a
dream held by a Serpent

To usurp the King
and steal his children

To steal his
kingdom and turn all that was good into sand

There was once a
serpent who started his dream

With a fruit he
tempted the man and the flesh of his flesh

To turn from the
King while the sand was just dry

As the king
walked along the sea

In his heart he
knew of the plan to thwart his own dream

Seeing the shame
of the man and his betrothed

The king loved
them and kept on dreaming

Knowing that now
they belonged to Serpent

He had to send
them away

Yet he would look
after them and keep on dreaming

There was once a
dream held by a King

He dreamed it
while walking along the sea

A dream that
children would be dancing in the waves

Oh the songs that
they would sing

Freed for his
glory so that all the cosmos might see

Children so many
like the sand brought up by the waves

There was once a
dream placed in the heart of a man

A longing that he
would be with the king once again

Oh the pain that
his offspring and he would endure

While away from
the King

There was once a
dream Held by a king

To take back the
children of his image

To steal the keys
of death from the serpent so despised

There was once a
dream held by a King

One that needed
courage to enact

One that required
a sacrifice

There was once a
love held by a king

A love that
compel him to give up that which he love the most

All to fulfill
his dream

A love that heard
the cries of the captives

A love so
powerful it could breath life into man

A love vast as
the sea that washed up on just wet sand

There was once a
Son held by a King

So precious to
him

Who will help him
form a kingdom vast and great

There was once a
Son sent by a king

To fight for a
dream held by a king

So that all might
know true love by his example

Up on a tree,
hung by his arms

Blood that flowed
on chains like acid

Shaking the land
with his death

There was once a
Son who died for a kingdom

Kingdom that
would be made from freed slaves

After battle on
the third day he would rise from the darkness

In brilliant
light like sun at dawn

Risen from the
Darkness

The spell of
death broken

Life &
freedom for children of the image

There was once a
Dream fulfilled by a King

Passed on to you
and me

As he carried his
children, leaving footprints in the sand

While the sand
was still wet…
