Training camp was very interesting looking back it was like
that scene from Star Wars the empire strikes back where look seeks out Yoda on
Dagobah and literally learns everything a Jedi learns in a life time in few
short days and gets the physically exhaustive workout to go with it. All this to
help him hear the will of the force despite all the distractions. At the end he
leaves on the verge of becoming a full fledged Jedi knight. Training camp was
very similar. When you go expect a spiritual boot camp with back to backs
sessions in a packed schedule. Learn to train your self to feel and hear the voice
of God despite the perceived busyness Expect to leave differently liberated and
changed. This transformation is not a means to an end but a means to a beginning.
Expect to name your fear and fear it no more. But as Yoda and Obi Wan warn Luke
as he leaves remember your training save it you can. Remember the change you
when through the truths of life spoke over you because immediately the dark
side waits trying to lure you into a trap. But all will be well to paraphrase
Yoda “For our ally is the Lord. And a powerful ally He is. He creates life,
makes it grow. His energy surrounds us… and binds us. Luminous beings are we,
not this… [nudging Luke’s arm] crude matter! We must feel the Lord around us.
Here, between you, me, the tree, the rock… everywhere! Even between the land
and the ship.”
