In month 2 while our whole squad was in Swaziland, a few members of our squad created a website for El Shaddai orphanage and the creation of this website caused the main organization that financially supports El Shaddai to back out. Right now all of the children have beds to sleep in, food to eat, and are getting an education but life as they know it could change drastically if they don't get sponsored soon. I am personally asking you to prayerfully consider sponsoring a child for Christmas. More than the money, the kids need to know that someone cares about them. An expression of love from a stranger that lives oceans away exposes the children to selfless love and gives them a tangible example of love in the way the Father loves us. Through your gift, they will experience and hopefully begin to understand the Lord's love for them. Please, consider using the overflow of blessing in your own life to bless a child at El Shaddai. Please keep El Shaddai in your prayers and visit the website at: http://www.elshaddaiswazi.org/
Here is a video that our squadmate Joe created from El Shaddai:
I forgot to tell y'all that our route got switched and that I have been in the Philippines this month! After this our route is now Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Puerto Rico.
My team is going down to Tacloban tomorrow morning through the 27th to do disaster relief from the typhoon and we will be partnering with KIM ministries (Kids International Ministries). Our job will be helping make food for the local people and to just be with them, sharing the Love that is in Christ Jesus. Please pray for our team that God would use us to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to a place who desperately needs His love!
Thanks again, y'all are awesome
Peace
