Hey everyone!

The countdown for me leaving the country and heading to the Dominican Republic to begin the World Race is becoming smaller.  Just 16 days until I fly out of Fort Lauderdale early on July 4.  With that being said, just a few things to say…
First, as always, thank you so much for those of you who have partnered with me in ministry both prayerfully and financially so far.  I know I’ve said this a lot and it might sound like something cliche that I just say, but I truly am so grateful for y’all’s support!  In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul talks about how we are all members of the body of Christ and all have equally important roles.  While my team and I are the ones actually going to the people and sharing the Gospel, your prayers and your financial support serve just as crucial of a role in this mission.
On that note, I would humbly like to ask you to continue to pray for me.  I have to be honest.  In the last couple of weeks, I have become way too focused on the financial side of the support.  With big numbers looming over my head, it can be difficult to remember that the finances are actually the least important aspect of everything. Our prayers are powerful and effective.  And through these prayers, God is going to change lives.  So pray spiritual protection over my team and I as we continue to prepare to leave; pray for my team and I as we arrive in Dominican Republic and begin to be used by God to minister to other people; and of course, pray for the hearts of those that we will be ministering to and sharing the love and hope of Christ with during our trip.
While finances are the least important aspect of everything, they are still an aspect of it all.  Therefore, I would also humbly like you to prayerfully consider continuing to join me in ministry through financial support.  Currently, my most important financial needs are for the outside expenses (the ones not covered by the 14,300 I’m trying to raise).  I still have to purchase a mandatory international health insurance which costs about $400.  I also still have one remaining month of rent to pay and a month of utilities left to pay.  Philippians 4:19 tells us that God richly provides for our needs.  I am humbly asking you to consider being used by God to provide for others’ needs.  I know it sounds cheesy but through supporting me, you are also supporting all of the people around the world that God will use my team and I to bring to the kingdom.  If you would like to support me in this way, contact me through email ([email protected]), and I can let you know how you can support me.
Finally, I also still have a few supplies that I could use.  To make it easier, I’m making a gift registry account with REI.  I’ll post the link to it in the next blog post by tomorrow so y’all can go to it if you would like to support me that way.
