So I just checked my support account, and I’m officially fully funded for my trip! I am currently at $14,782.92, which is $482.92 over the $14,300 that I need to be fully funded for the trip. Praise God!! And thank all of y’all so much for all of your support over the last few months.
So here’s the new deal. While $14,300 is what I needed in order to stay on the trip for the entire 11 months, I am actually allowed to raise up to $15,800. There were certain purchases (vaccinations, insurance, etc.) that were not covered under the $14,300. Therefore, I am allowed to raise up to $15,800 and then be reimbursed up to $1500 for those extra purchases. So I do still need support, although regardless of what else is raised, I’m fully funded for the entire 11 months of the trip. Also, monthly supporters, I promise to keep y’all fully updated on my support so that as soon as I reach the $15,800, I can let you know so you can stop sending in the monthly donations.
Finally, I do still have teammates who are not fully funded. Over the next couple days, I’m gonna find out that info from them and I’ll let y’all know so if you want to support them now that I’m fully supported, you can do so.
