Well, I guess you are interested in reading about me right if you are here? Well, let me start with the basics, I am 26 years old- I am a native of TEXAS, I am a confident man of God, I speak truth and love like no other. And I have the craziest family of all. My mom and dad are rocks and they are also Jesus Freaks, my brother is a joy and God is doing some mighty things in His life.
Background:
I grew up in a small town where everyone knows everyone, and seems to sometimes talk about everyone. BUT I still enjoyed it. I grew up in the Methodist denomination. I played a lot of sports, was involved in church, and well- enjoyed life. I heard the Lord call me when I was 14 at a Missions Week my youth group had held and the Holy Spirit showed up in a mighty way that night. My best friend placed his hands on me, spoke in another language, and well…I heard everything in English, while everyone else heard him in another language..SO…if you believe that the gifts don’t apply for today, I say go ask the Spirit of God to show up and revolutionize your life! MINE did. My life has been a blessed life. No doubt.
I graduated from High School in 2002, attended Lamar University and entered into the medical field with hopes of being a MD one day…I had all my plans for my life! So I thought! Well, the Big Man upstairs has had some other plans for my life and I ended up going into the RN program at Lamar- and at the end of my junior year with not much left of school, God put a hold on Nursing and I went into my senior year of college completely shocked, hopeless, no more dreams in me, lost, broken, yet knowing something would show up–and well it did. In one year, I took a lot of classes, hard hours, but I do have a Bachelors in “General Studies” yeah- its a degree!
The past 2 years of my life has been nothing short of a hurricane it seems. I love it though! God truly knows the desires of a mans heart and when we are willing, He brings you to it. I went on my own journey in January 2008 around the world to be broken, on a search for more of God, etc. and well…I got that and more! God completely broke me and it was not pretty. In July of 2008 my little brother was involved in a major motorcycle accident back in Texas and God started doing some crazy things in me, it was the hardest thing to walk through away from my family, but the greatest.
When trails come, it will be our responsibility to make our own choice of what to do about situations and I went and go to the Tree of LIFE everyday to be filled up…
I left in March of this year for G42, Leadership Academy in Mijas Spain, after my brothers arm surgery. The teachings, life that was given out, encouragement, challenges, an atmosphere that provided a pure and safe growth in Christ has done wonders for me- God is awesome! I am confident in who I am more than ever in Christ, what He has promised us, given us, etc. and there are no worries on my side now because I know that I am taken care of and so are you! I would say that I am a Jesus Freak…I believe in the Holy Spirit and the works of Him today, I believe that each person has a potential and purpose in Christ, that He calls each man and woman a child of Him.
I desire to see a multi-generation awake from there sleep and become fully alive in who they are in Christ, to use the anointing and giftings they have been given freely from Him to go forth and bring the Kingdom of God to all those we come in contact with!
Below are some random facts that still hold true for today!
I believe that laughter is one of the best remedies for life. I am usually the one of the dance floor shaking his booty- so put the music on and there I am! I am overwhelmed by Gods love and grace over my life. My parents are my heros. The rest below are just snippets of who I am…come hang out with me or speak to me and you will find out much more…I am all about Gods Love and watching people come alive in it. Love Wins!
— I believe in education. — Rain, thunder, and lighting are flippin’ amazing. — I love to laugh. — The lake is where I feel the most peaceful. — Reading is something I do a lot. — Wondering in my thoughts is common. — I love to run. — Sports are fun to play and watch. — College football is amazing– Friends are gifts from the Lord and I have learned that sometimes those gifts are taken away, but to always rejoice for the past. — Death is real. — My brother and I are polar opposites, but he has taught me so much about how to relax. — My dog Shiloh is awesome — T Bar M will always be my second home for me — Kids are Gods gift to treasure and teach the truth to.- Smiling is the defeat of hurt. — Failure is the start of knowledge. — Spending quality time with people. — The piano will always be my favorite instrument. — I love to sing. — I am flabbergasted by humans and their lack of care for the nations. — I am a warrior for Christ. — Watching people act and react to situations is interesting. — I like to do things on my own. — God is breaking my heart for people all over. — He is giving me a new heart of love more and more. — I can’t sit still ever – I am adventurous. — I love randomness. –God’s creation baffles me daily. — I have a sweet tooth. –Do my best to obey Christ. — Studying the Word of God.– Learning more of listening to His voice. –Having way to much fun in life. –My life is to be lived for Christ.——-
