Well, for the last month I was in Cape Town where I literally saw the beauty of my God daily through the sunsets, mountains, and the ocean. I learned a ton about myself once again, and it has been incredible to just be surrounded by people who are changing constantly as well and see the growth in them.
We are now headed off to Swaziland for the whole month where internet access will be a bit slow/not so much available. So, I probably won’t be able to post much of anything, but hopefully I will give an update sometime to let you guys know what is happening and what God is up to. We have some amazing things ahead for us there- we will be building a couple of houses, a few kitchen shelters for the Care Points, and maybe helping with a church planting that is going on there. I am excited to say the least. God only knows what we really do and experience.
God is so good and He is constantly reforming my life in spectacular ways. I really appreciate the love that He showers on me and how I can really call Him my dad and truly believe it now! There is an overwhelming joy that I have in me… yes, a fight for that daily, but with Him- I am able to thrive in that state of joy more frequently.
Yup, I am fine and dandy. Nothing to ever complain about. I really have been great this last month- running all the time, eating well, etc. We had an amazing opportunity to go shark cage diving and it was so beautiful to see the Great Whites a foot or so from you. I did get sea sick though because of sucking in some salt water when I got excited about a shark..you can only imagine that scene..hahaha. But through the times of puking my guts up, I was laughing at every minute of it and still praising the Lord for an amazing life I have had.
Thanks again for your prayer and support. I really appreciate it and it is always great to get y’alls encouraging emails. I am so thankful for my brother and sisters back in the states who I can call my “family”.
