How’s it going? I’m Robbie, and I’m 19 years old. I hail from the great (well, sort of) state of Florida. I have felt the push to do foreign missions for many years. I have been on mission trips to Guatemala, Costa Rica, and even downtown Tallahassee. Even during these trips I felt the push to do something more. Then one day I found out about the World Race Gap Year via a friend who is currently on the mission field. I immediately knew this was what I needed to do. Six months later, after decisions were made, and prayers said, I applied and got accepted into this program. My team and I will embark on a nine month mission trip to India, Ecuador, and Zambia beginning in October. It is quite a feat, and something that has me bubbling over with excitement and joy. I will miss my friends and family back home, but will not be alone on this trip. Please pray for me and my team as we draw ever closer to this endeavor. Also pray for the folks who we’ll encounter along the way.
I do have to raise a whopping $13,805 to be able to embark on this trip. I cannot reach this on my own. If you are led to support me, please do. It doesn’t matter what the size of the donation is, every little bit counts. In donating you’re saying, “I’m sending you as an ambassador to these nations; to spread the Gospel, bring hope, and build relationships with the folks who live there.” You can do so by clicking on the “Donate” tab at the top. No pressure! Haha! Do pray, whether you donate or not. Pray for the entire team going. Pray for strength and courage to carry on, even when the going gets tough. It won’t be easy, but with God on our side we have no need to fear.
