Where do we even begin?
God is so good! All the time! We have $9139 fundraised at this point and we are so incredibly blessed. We have amazing people rising up to support us, not only in prayer, but with finances. That is a huge blessing to us! When we started this process we were both at ease and knew that if this was God’s plan for our lives as individuals and our life as a married couple then He was going to make it happen. However, no matter how much you think you believe that, when you see the number $32,554, you freak out a little. That is a lot of money. But our God is a BIG God. He has provided every single step of the way and we have no doubts that He will send us on this journey, and we are so thankful that He is using you amazing people to help get us there!
So Many Changes!
We recently found out that our Launch Date has changed! We are no longer leaving in July, we are leaving June 27th or 28th! Want to know how to stress out a Type-A planner…move their launch date and fundraising goal dates up by 2 weeks…it works REALLY well. No matter what date we leave, we are excited to go out and be a light to the world. We are excited to be changed and to help change if we are given the opportunity.
We were also recently told that our route has been altered slightly. We are no longer going to Burma, which to be honest was a bit of a bummer, however, we are now going to Malaysia instead! For whatever reason we are needed in Malaysia and we know that God has huge plans for us and the people of that country. He knows the reason even if we don’t and we are choosing to trust in Him for all things, even when they throw us out of our comfort zones. That is why we pray for Him to lead us where our trust is without borders. Now we have to live it.

Would you pray that He would work in our hearts and prepare us for each individual country we are going to (El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Mongolia, and China) and for the people we will encounter in each of those places. Would you pray that our team would be challenged and changed in this time of preparation? That we would keep open hearts and minds to do whatever it is that God has called each of us to do? Would you pray that our entire team would be completely funded? And would you pray about supporting us throughout this journey with your prayers and funds?
We understand that not everyone can go on the World Race, but you can still help make a difference by helping to send those of us that can.
