Jacob on earth; Israel in heaven.
Never once in heaven was Jacob called, ‘The one who deceives.’ Rather, we was always called, ‘The one who perseveres with God.’
Until Jacob’s name was changed, every time someone said his name, ‘Deceiver’ was spoken over him. The most consistent message we receive is the one we believe. Jacob believed he was a deceiver so he began to deceived. His actions were directly correlated to his belief about who he was.
After The Lord changed his name, every time someone said his name, ‘Perseveres with God’ was spoken over him. Then he started to persevere with God. His actions were a direct result of his new belief about himself.
From the time he was born, The Lord always spoke ‘Israel’ over him and never ‘Jacob.’ The Lord never speaks death over us, but always life. Words have the power of life and death. Let’s get on board with what heaven says of us and our actions will start to to reflect and spread heaven in and around us!
Jacob on earth; Israel in heaven!
This is one of the many things I’ve been learning to a greater extent at G42; the leadership academy I’m attending (click the link if you’d like to learn more). I hope you were able to share with me in this revelation that was birthed from class last semester. If you enjoyed it, I ask that you consider partnering with me however Spirit leads-prayer, sharing encouragement of what He’s doing, financial support (link to my fundraising page), sharing this message with others, etc. Thanks for following and supporting my journey! Have a fantastic day!
