Hey everyone! Thanks for visiting my blog! So for those who do not know me, here is my life in a nutshell:
My name is Rita Miller and I am 28 years old. I was born and raised in a Christian home in Plain City, OH. I am blessed to have 2 loving parents who have been married 35 years! I also have 2 older brothers, a younger sister, 2 sister-in-laws, 1 bro-in-law, 3 nieces, and 2 nephews. I love my family and they are such a huge blessing to me!
I have my Associates Degree in Accounting and currently work in the Accounting Dept. at an engineering firm…until I leave for the Race that is. My coworkers are awesome…they make work fun every day! We are definitely not your typical accounting crew:-)
In my free time I enjoy staying active, hanging out with friends, and traveling. I also help organize our church's College Plus group…we meet each week for Bible Study.
I really don't know what else to put in this section…so, following the theme of "11"s, here are 11 random facts about me:
1. My coworkers call me Dorito.
2. I thought I wanted a kitty once…it didn't work out so well. I had it for a day and returned it. I learned a valuable lesson from the experience though…apparently I am not a pet person.
3. I eat cereal for dinner more often than I should.
4. I am obsessed with IKEA. It makes me happy just thinking about it. I have a really good IKEA story, too. You should ask me about it.
5. I am a big sports fan. Football season is my fave!
6. I may or may not be going to the Justin Timberlake concert in November.
7. Christmas is by far my favorite holiday!
8. I have gone over a year now without cable TV. I never thought I would be able to go without it, but now that I have I don't really want it.
9. I do watch network TV still though, and my favorite show is definitely New Girl. Hilarious!
10. My biggest fear is that this blog will end up sounding like my old Xanga site. Ok, maybe not my biggest fear, but I just recently rediscovered my old Xanga and was mortified.
11. I am so excited to see how God will stretch me in the World Race! It will be a BIG step outside of my comfort zone, but I am up for the challenge and know that God has awesome stuff in store for me!
