Last night I received a text from my Mom who is currently in Pittsburg with my Poppie, that explained how they had been sharing with his dentist about the World Race and all the things I was going to be doing. Before they left the office, this random man I had never met or even heard about until now, handed my Poppie an $100 bill and said “give this to your granddaughter.” When I saw this text I couldn’t even believe it. My mind was immediately directed towards this verse,
“So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:5
I am starting to learn more and more about how we are all connected through the Lord and even though that dentist doesn’t even know me, nor I him, we are able to both work for the Lord’s kingdom together, but in different ways. Fundraising is not an easy task and can definitely be discouraging sometimes, but it’s moments and people like this that remind me that he will provide when I least expect him to. As we continue to remain faithful in him he will supply us with not only our worldly needs, but knowledge and wisdom in him, as we make our daily mission to spread his word.
