Welp somehow after my 42 hour travel day I FINALLY made it to Thailand!! It felt so natural moving into my apartment, having coffee and little thai cookies with my ministry host, holding babies and going on walks around our little town and I know that’s only because of God. It shouldn’t feel natural to be here, but it feels just as close to home as home does because he is so evidently with me.
I will begin work on Monday and work everyday except Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I am going to be on night shift but don’t ask me what that looks like because honestly I have no idea yet. Weirdly enough I think night shift was an unexpected answer to one of my more recent prayers. Coming here last year was a primary focus on the kids but this year I really wanted to learn from and pour into the nannies. They work so hard all year long and deserve a lot more attention than they receive. So in my late nights I will have good quality time with them and I am really really excited for that.
