On August 18th my sweet sister Rayah got married to her dream guy. This day was prayed over and thought about everyday for years, and we saw the Lord show up in many ways. One specific way I wanted to share about was how we saw God work through butterflies.

My grandma passed away on June 21st, 2018 and my other Maw Maw died on February 26, 2010, so this meant my sweet sister didn’t have either of her grandmas at her wedding. But really she did. As she walked down the isle a butterfly landed next to my Grandaddy who had just lost his wife this summer. It sat on the empty seat beside him, then it quickly got up and flew to the waist of my beautiful sister. Then when she reached the front and joined hands with her soon to be husband, another butterfly landed on her shoulder. I quickly was overwhelmed by the idea that the Lord was sending a little representation of each of my grandmothers, placed right on the beautiful bride. Although their physical bodies weren’t there, their presence and love was just as evident as any person at that service. My grandmas were able to be at my sisters wedding cancer free and I could not be more thankful for that.
