So as many of you know I have been home for about 6 months now and it truly has been such a sweet season. I have gotten to make such special memories with my family including my brand new little nieces and take time to rest and soak in the time where I have absolutely no plans. As incredible as this time has been I am so ready for what’s next.. so what’s next?
Well… IM MOVING TO THAILAND!! Not forever haha, but at least for the next 6 months!! I am returning to the orphanage, Agape Home, I worked at last February while I was still on the race, this place truly has a special place in my heart. My ministry host Avis, the nannies, the babes and the rest of the staff took us in as their own and truly made me feel so loved and encouraged during my time there, so it was pretty clear after I got home I was supposed to be there again.
While I’m there I am going to be taking care of the babies and toddlers and helping with sponsorship coordination. Avis’s dream is to be fully run by sponsors which would truly be a miracle so I obviously want to be a part of helping that dream become a reality.
I will be leaving the first week of January and returning the first week of July. I am still fundraising and will continue to do so after I leave. I have a set goal for what I need to take care of my personal expenses but I would also like to raise more that would be used to bless the people there.
