Month Four is here!
It is crazy how fast time on the race is going by!
As month 3 comes to an end, so does my time in Asia. I have absolutely fallen in love with the countries I have lived in the past 3 months. It has been a dream and it is hard to comprehend that I still have 8 more months! I am currently at the airport about to head to Lesotho, South Africa.
When I picture spending the next 3 months in Africa, I picture actually being ‘off the grid’. I am not sure of all 3 months in Africa, but I know staying in touch with back home in January will not be realistic. We are going to Malealea in Lesotho. It is a village in the middle of nowhere and I CANNOT WAIT! It is going to be such an experience. I don’t know much about what life will look like there, but I do know, “when the winds get rough, you can take shelter in the church.” sooooo, assuming I will be setting up my tent this month?!
Something that was incredible that happened this morning was that as I was packing to leave for the airport, I realized I have to be fully funded by the end of January. How was I going to fundraise from across the world with no way to reach out to people back home?
God is so cool and He revealed to me that I am FULLY FUNDED.
What a gift it is to be supported by such a supportive, generous, and consistent community back in the States. There are not enough “thank you’s” I can give to express how grateful I am for your support and obedience to the Lord!
But, THANK YOU!!!
Thank you for saying ‘yes’ to Him and loving me!
With that said, I am so thankful to confidently go into this next month not having to worry about my final deadline.
Please continue lifting up prayers for this journey and the people my team and I come in contact with. Pray for obedience within where the Lord leads us and for the space through us to do what His will is while we are there.
ps. please pray for my sweet mom, as she is a lil shakey with my being “off the grid” with lack of communication- if you read this, give her a hug for me!
