Well, since we are about two weeks into ministry in Thailand, I thought it might be a nice time to send you an update on what I did in Swaziland and what's goin' down this month.

We spent our time in Swaziland with two other teams at a children’s home called El Shaddai. It was placed perfectly on top of a mountain with an incredible view of the valley.

We taught preschool, cuddled babies, changed dirty diapers, swept kitchens, dug a septic tank, and tutored teens.

All of the tutoring and growth that all the kids went through while we were there showed me how important getting an education is. How privileged I am to have the opportunities that I do. My next adventure: going to college!

Which brings me to this month. This month is loaded! On top of processing tough lessons, thinking of our next journeys and finishing the Race strong we have been separated from our men on the squad. We are doing “manistry” month, which means the boys are off ministering near Burma while us ladies are split into new teams lovin’ on the ladies in the bars.

We are working with Lighthouse Ministries. This ministry is backed by lovely people with huge hearts and an abundant supply of courage. Being here; doing what we're doing is really igniting a fire within me to have a hands on impact with defending the defenseless. It’s definitely an organization that will continue to have my prayers and support. During the day we intercede, teach English and take ladies out on “Dates”. At night we buy drinks for them and preoccupy time that might be spent with “customers”.

Please keep the following in your prayers:
  • Spiritual, mental, and physical endurance for all of us.
  • Protection and provision for Lighthouse ministries.
  • Freedom for these ladies.
