Last month, through all the sweat, we managed to see people healed left and right. Simply put. That’s the only way I could sum up Cambodia. We lived with an amazing host family, ran a youth conference and pastor conference, literally saw people healed by prayer, and I preached for the first time. It was the ideal World Race month. No running water, no A/C, and coordinates needed to find us on Google maps.

That was month 10 in a nutshell. We have started month 11 in Malaysia and we have running water and aircon. We are working with YWAM Penang volunteering at a homeless shelter and hospital. We serve food at the homeless shelter and collect donations for children who need heart surgeries at the hospital. Pretty low-key volunteer work and yet I can’t help feeling…beat.

God continues to remind me of all the things we’ve seen and done and how fitting it is to feel a bit worn and torn. While we have been here we have met some really radical people. We were talking to one of them and he said something that really stuck with me:

“Life is not black & white. We continue to follow the Spirit.”

Though all I feel like doing is sleeping and registering what‘s been happening for the last 10 months, the Spirit keeps prompting me to finish strong. The way I end this adventure is the way I enter the next (the next adventure will be revealed in the next blog).
So please keep me and my team in your prayers. That the Spirit would be strong in us and that we would finish strong.
