So far South Africa has consisted of:
Tents, Bonfires, Backyard Football games, Rugby, Christmas tree hunting, and the Beach.
Life couldn't get any better. An average day looks like:
630-715 Groggily convincing myself it's time to get up.
720-930 Workout, bathe, quiet time and breakfast
935-1000 Worship
1005-1330 Toss the football around, family time, fire wood collection, one on ones, banana grams, more quiet time.
1335-1700 Meet up with the coolest bunch of kids! Play games, give piggy back rides, play rugby, get tackled by team leader, talk/sing with the kids about Jesus' love, give LOADS of hugs and head back home.
1705-1930 Game of football with the team and then dinner out by the fire
1930-2100 Think about how amazing life is and how thankful I am to be here…then crawl back into my tent and drift off to sleep.
Everyday the thought "This could be my life" crosses my mind. The people here are so phenomenal! And the kids are so open to be loved and give love in return. I can't get enough.
