As the title of this blog says, "Last call for funds or going home" I truly believe this is the last call. The final deadline is fastly approaching! All of those who are short of funds were told that we have the "definite potential" to be sent home if we do not raise our remaining amount by March 31st. This is dealt with case by case depending on if the individual wants to stay and is showing effort to stay. I myself desire to stay and this is my first step of action to raise the remaining funds. I am reaching out to all brothers and sisters in Christ, family, friends, strangers whoever the Lord desires to use.
Currently I need to raise $3,383.69.
My heart: I desire to continue preaching the Gospel to the nations. I desire to continue serving the nations. I desire to keep learning about differnt cultures and having divine appointments. I desire to continue growing in Christ and Glorifying God in all that I do. This trip has been both great and challenging. This has been a year that I'll never forget and will always reflect back on because it has been a memorable year and an experience that I do not regret. Missions will always be apart of who I am because I am a In Christ and missionaries are who we are everyday whether it be at home or abroad. As one pastor put it "either you are going down in the well or holding the rope for those who go down, either way you have scars on your hands."
Whether I go home or not I am content in the perfect will of the Lord and I will continue to move forward with scars on my hands from going into the well and from praying for those who remain. How can I at all grumble or complain. 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."The Lord is faithful, good, and soverign and he never changes regardless of what happens.
I will continue to pray the Lords will, cling to his promises in scripture, and by faith work to raise support.
